Which pots and pans are safe and durable & not hard to clean?

Iam in the market for a new set of pots and pans, I want to make sure they are safe & durable and of course easy to clean. I will also be purchasing (Hopefully) one of the frying pans that look like a grill (Not excatly sure what it is called). I currently have T-Fal which has black coating peeling off. Any information would be great... Thanks,
