How can I deal with my palmetto bug problem?

I have never advised sucking up bugs in the vacuum, but every time my mom saw one, she pulled out the vacuum and got to work, and we never saw whatever she picked up again. It depends on the vacuum. with bagged vacs, the bugs only have one way out, and it's unlikely they'll make it there. You can also put powdered insecticides and moth ( or whatever non liquid substance kills palmetto bed bugs) in the bag. With bagless, putting environment-controlling substances(like air fresheners and moth ) in bagless vacs isn't going to be of much use/very effective because of the filter(s).
