David Cameron's war agains Benefit Cheats.?
David Cameron has said this week that certain companies in the private sector will probably be given the task of checking credit card accounts, banks etc. trying to catch out those who are benefit cheats. I agree it is not correct that anyone should cheat in this way. However, he has not made it clear to my knowledge if it is only those on meants tested benefits that their private affairs are being looked in. I ask this as although have nothing to hide I don't consider it correct anyone should look at my private affairs just for the sake of it. I worked constantly for over 40 years. Now through illness and care I required I am on DLA. My husband still works and having no outlays eg mortgage at our time of life have a substantial amount save and still saving in preparation for his retirement. We are not now or ever have been of any type means tested benefit does David Cameron intend allowing people outwith the DWP to look in to cirstances such as ours? I certainly am not comfortable thinking that unknown people could do this as it could lead to identity fraud. Anyone know???
